The Tarot has been in my “tool box” for the longest.

Updated: 4 days ago

As I sit here and think about all the tools of my trade, the Tarot has been in my “tool box” the longest. I got my first REAL reading in the late 80’s by a red headed woman, a clay artist, that would later introduce me to a spiritual community called the Lunatic Fringe. We had our moments for sure!

When I experienced that reading, I was mesmerized and astonished at how accurate it was and how it laid out a path that I could chose to follow…or not.

I came to realize that the cards were NOT a form of fortune telling, but simply a mirror for the client to see where they are in the moment, what is influencing their situation, what obstacles may be in their way and what they could do to move around or through the obstacles.

I tell my clients to this day that the cards will confirm much of what they may already know, bring into their consciousness information that may be utilize to make course corrections and to dive deeper to learn more about the narratives they have created to navigate the world up to this point.

The cards reveal patterns, possibilities and perspectives we may not see clearly yet.

The use of this tool has been sorely misunderstood for centuries. It is my honor and part of my purpose to show people how the use of tarot can assist them on their journey.

Is there anything that people often misunderstand about your work or life?
